The weaker sex? Lets face it guys we are weaker. Examining the present social dynamics, who generally approaches who? We approach Women seeking Their approval. During that search we are looking for signs that our ‘peacocking’ is being well received. We are acting, saying, and presenting ourselves in the best manner hoping Women might show an interest. From that pool (if a guy is lucky enough to have more than one), he must approach Her. And honestly, without a Woman giving us the signs that an approach is ok, most of us would not. Say the social ‘peacocking’ and positioning went well and now there is a relationship. Who first? Who opens doors for who? At a formal social events who gets Their chair pushed in? Who protects who? Who gets help with Their coat? Even in the past, it has been the our responsibility to be her protector AND escort. This respect for women even goes back to medieval times when men fought duels to the death for a Woman. These customs of courtship were demonstrations courage, good manners, all to impress Women. Showing respect, protecting, trying to stand out in a crowd these are forms of subservience. Strength is defined as power of body(muscle), mind, reason of influence, numbers, even the lasting will of one over another. Since physical strength fades and really thats all we have over Women, and Women have an advantage over men in 4 of the 5 of the fore mentioned disciplines, we men are the weaker sex.
As i look over my profile i have found a flaw of terminology and am looking for help, one of many of that i'm sure and apologize for. However this one poses an interesting question at the same time. Submission of one to Another could be view in two ways, when in their truest form cannot be the same, an exchange "i'll give You this for that"?, or a gift "i'll just give You this to do what You wish". Is the submissive’s view of their submittion as an exchange a latent way of topping from the bottom? Should all submissives view their submission to Whom ever they choose as a gift rather than exchange? And is that distinction in analysis the difference between submissive and slave?
