I wasnt really sure where I wanted to post this.. so I posted it here.

Okay so I get into this conversation ALOT with Dommes and subs that I meet, when I tell them Im into Financial D/s.   Alot of subs will say when a Domme takes tribute Shes automatically a pro-Domme. This is can be a true.. BUT a very false statement.

Now this is written from MY OPINION.. and it not meant to insult or offend ANYONE at all... just take that in to account when you read and post on this matter if you want to.  This is something that I have in My head and I want to share with Dommes and subs alike to give them a thought of how to look at things.

TO ME.. ALL DOMMES once they have created their FIRST call line (niteflirt, talksugar, keen, adultworks.. etc..) pass over the line to pro-Domme. Because legally on paper ONCE you are paying taxes on money earned (even tributes and gifts) that is your profession.. therefore you are a Professional DOMME in the eyes of whatever govt you are under... BUT.. this is also very false in a mentality and emotional way.

A REAL TRUE pro-Dommes life is made or destroyed on how many clients she has, because this is MOSTLY her way of survival, her bills are paid, her food is bought her, her rent dealt with via moneys she makes Dominating people... 

Now some will say .. well what about those that have the buttons for adopting a bill .. my money pays their bills.. i pay for their food...  and yes this true.. but what separates a PRO - from a Lifestyle DOMME is very easy...  

IF.. the slaves/subs/pets money were to cease... and the Domme were totally dependent on HERSELF (her world outside of D/s)  to survive could She make it (either by way of a job, or having a spouse/other to take care of her)...  IF the answer to this is YES... any and all money received via slaves/subs/pet  ONLINE OR RT.. are just perks.. shes a Lifestyler.      If the answer is NO.. and her sole survival is from the money from Clients... and such.. shes a Pro-Domme and thats how she makes her LIVING... a Lifestyler living is NOT depending on what she gets from pets and subs.

I know some Lifestylers may get upset at this... saying "BUT Im not a ProDomme at all!" when you sit and think of it on Paper.. yes you are... your just not DEPENDING on that as a sole source of income.. therefore its not your profession.. its your Hobby and a hobby is a lifestyle thing you do to have fun..

and there will be some Pro-Dommes that say hey.. I still love My job .. and your calling it a hobby but Im really a Pro-Domme.. yea youa re.. because you are charging by the hour for a service.. and once that service is done you move on..  But still you have to share alil of your light with the lifestylers .. just as the lifestylers do with you..

There are plenty of Pro-Dommes that do this as a daily jobe and still have inlive slaves.. I personally do not see them as PRO-DOMMES.. because once they live the Domme Office they still have their pets at home.. that is a lifestyle.. so its a switch between the two.. I could be wrong but so what... this is just a thought..

ad I dont think Camgirls and Phonegirls are any less Dominant.. or Lifestyler than the other.. they are Life/Pro Dommes.. they do it both equally and enjoy what they do...  so I give them props for having the moxy to show themselves off and have fun with their jobs.. shit most wish they could have JOBS where it was a play day everyday...

also I dont think Cam-Girls and Phone Girls that show skin.. and like to perform are Hos... sluts... hookers - Domme Pornstars if they like the title..  Alt Pornstars if they like that...  Hell Sexual Dominatrix.. is a nice one too.. but they are DOMMES none the less... and I still give them props.. if they have the bodies.. they like to have fun.. GO FOR BROKE.. at least they are honest about it.. and dont have shame in what they do.. kudos.. but  they too can still be Lifestyle Dommes and not Pro-Dommes..

the titles are based on indiviudal perference.. so subbies before you are quick to call a Domme a Pro.. think about what they are into.. ask them what they like.. just because they like to be respected and tributed to.. DOESNT mean your money will make or break them.. because MOST pro-Dommes are RT and still your lil bit will not make their world brighten or dim much.. because they have backups to keep themselves afloat.

and before you start calling ProDommes, Camgirls, and Phonegirls.. hos sluts.. and thinking they are just greedy bitches with no lives.. might as well think that over too...  Dont be jealous because you dont have jobs like them having fun with your life.. if you dont like them move on.. but dont judge them.

I know this post might be really jumbled but it was a thought I was having and wanted to express it for all... for those that could read what I was feeling.. thanks for understanding those that done.. read it a few times and you will be able to piece it all together.. but simply... Lifestyle or Pro.. Dommes are Dommes.. and meant to be respected.. and its no ones right to judge how they want to live or practice their fetishes..

So CamGirls.. do your thing.. get naked and have a blastyblast... Phonegirls.. make them cum hard and come back for more...  Lifestylers..  Beat'em till they cream.. and have them tuck you in at night.. - Pros keep making that paper !!

I agree with MistressAlexis, great post! I would also like to add that I fall into the catagory of "none of the above". 

Some may call me a 'Lifestyler' but I don't relate to that term for a couple of reasons. First, as you have defined it, this is not a hobby for me.  It's not how I have fun, while it is fun, I don't use it simply for enjoyment.  Second, a 'lifestyler' to me is someone that is involved in it as recreation which is not me.

This is simply who I am.  Born this way, not chosen like sexuality.  Gay's don't choose to be gay, they are gay.  I did not choose to be Dominant, I am dominant.  I do however, choose to acknowledge it, embrace it, and accept it. 

My lover, partner, mate, slave is everything to me.  I don't have a boyfriend for sex and a slave for service.  One relationship Mistress/slave.  For better or for worse.  This is just what works for me.
