Hi Sissy Friends

I want to ask you all a very important question. I know and expect two different answers here and that is ok. If you are a sissy and don't have a Mistress you may answer this question quite differently than a sissy with a Mistress.

The question is how and where do you do your shopping for your clothes and make up? Do you do it online or do you shop in person?  If you shop in person, is it because you did so the first time all on your own or were your instructed too by your Mistress.

Personally i shop in person. Experiences for me ranging from non eventful to humilation at first then by the end when leaving having that nice feeling that you know you have found a place were you can go and feel free to shop.

My most recent experience is with make up and a department store. The saleslady was extremely helpful to the point of wanting me to try the makeup on to get the right color for my skin. That was ok but it was done in the middle of the isle in a crowded store.

Like to hear  some shopping experiences of others and also where you shop wheather it is online or in person.  Thanks Tammy

Actually, I shop on line AND in person ... for two different reasons.   I shop online because of the variety of items available (and, often, the lower price).   If there's a particular item you really want, it's simply much easier to order it online because you're pretty much assured of finding the right size, color, etc.   Favorite online sites are figleaves.com, barenecessities.com,and herroom.com for lingerie, and jjill.com, jcrew.com and eddiebauer.com for clothing.  These clothing sites have a wide variety of sizes ... misses, petites, talls, women's ... so they can fit most of us sissies.
(By the way, if you're unsure of bra/panty sizes and styles, go to www.herroom.com/lingerie-for-men.aspx.   It's written by a woman's store for men who are buying lingerie for themselves.  Best on the web!)    If it's breast forms you're interested in, you can't beat Glamour Boutique.   Very good forms; very good prices; very good service.
I shop in person because: 1) I love to shop for women's clothes; and I especially love to shop for woman's clothes while WEARING woman's clothes!   I can't 'pass', so I wear clothes that are discreetly feminine on the outside.   But, next to my skin, I always wear a bra, panties, stockings, low heels and smallish breast forms.   Most passers by don't take notice, but a sales clerk can always tell that I'm wearing feminine items.   Even so, some still persist in assuming that I'm shopping for someone else, so I tell them, politely but clearly, that the items I'm looking at are for me.   THAT'S a thrilling moment.  And then, it's up to the clerk.  If she remains pleasant and helpful, we have a great time together, and I always buy something there.  If she's not, I browse for a bit and then leave.   Still, shopping in person let's you look at and feel the wonderful clothes, and it offers an opportunity for the 'delicious humiliation' of exposing yourself as a sissy in front of a woman.
Anyway, that's me.
Hugs,
Lacey
P.S.   Favorite shops include Lane Bryant, Dillard's, J. Jill, Dress Barn, etc.

Generally i do 95% or more of my shopping in person. The rest would be online, Now i have had many different experieces shopping in person ranging from non eventfull to extremly humiliating. I have found numerous locations that ar crossdresser freindly. If you are a crossdresser and new to trying to shop one good idea that i have used and still use on ocassion is to call the store in advance of shopping there and ask them if they would allow you to try on the clothing in the store before you buy it. This way when you do go to the store it can save you some of the humiliation. Most stores will tell you no problem . Them when you go in they already know who you are or have a pretty good guess that your the one who called. They treat you very good . I hope that idea will help others be able to shop for thenselves and feel more comfortable even though it may still be very humiliating when you try on a dress or whatever in the dressing rooms.

Done both, but when "live" it's always in the company of my Mistress.  In Lincoln, England, we've found no problem in everything from charity shops to department stores.  In fact we've often ended up doing a "q&a" with staff members.

I'm not going into why we both "stand out" from the norm, but we do.  We've never had any bad reaction socally even when "recognised".  Charmed life in many ways.

Even better, one or two charity shops know what we like and phone up when something comes in, the ladies who run one even contact us just to see how things are going :)
