But I thought it would be interesting to post here as well.  Now, don't miscontrue the OP's use of the word "crumbled" as bad.  he was speaking about when a sub is serving (in this case in a FinDom relationship but works for all types in My opinion) and the sub might have some initial resistance in doing a particular task (that is not a limit) that the Domme is asking of said sub.  However, during the session, the sub becomes so consumed in the scene that the sub would do whatever act/task/command the Domme is requested.

 

Anyways, I am bringing this topic to this board and opening it up to encompass the whole lifestyle because I am curious about how folks (Domme and sub alike) feel about the "break."   I will spare you all the details of My FinDom response, as it is less applicable to this thread and instead just answer the question as if I just saw it for the 1st time here.  I can almost tell from a few conversations in, if a boy id going to be compatible enough with Me for them to serve in a particular capacity, be it r/t or online, Fin or Lifestyle.  However, just because the compatbility is there, doesn't mean the willingness is.  And that little mindfuckery dance that we engage in, where I Assess, Identify, then Strike that not only allows Me to further My understanding of people, Myself and the lifestyle, but also keeps Me interested enough to stick around.  I love mental play, so this type of interaction is an intergal part of My ability to be fulfilled in the relationships I seek.

 

So, to answer the question, "how does it feel?"; it feels powerful-- but that is a given... The more important question is, "how does it taste?"; and My response is, "Delicious."

I must agree, delicious is one of the best words to use for it. It is by no means the pinnacle of the experience, but it is a wonderful starting point.

As a submissive, i'm not aware of such a "breaking point".  Instead...it feels more of a process that evolves. How it evolves of course depends on the personalities and dynamics of the two individuals.  i sort of liken it to what's typically known as a "runner's high".  After running so much that i'm exhausted, i find that if i keep pushing myself past the "wall", i experience a sort of high.  Perhaps what is being referred to as the "breaking point" is just that-a wall that has been broken.  All i know is that when i get past the wall...the experience is indescribably delicious.  But then again...so is the process of getting there. 

I agree with everyone, delicious is a good term, powerful, and in control are others.  For me the first time it happend I was well read on what to do, how to handle it, as a Domme.  If i hadn't been I think it woulda scared me. To have a submissive just break, start crying, and shivering.. i was glad I knew the signs, that I knew it was possible.  But it gives an awesome adreneline rush, that keeps me on edge for hours.  To date I have found nothing to match it.

I always thought the "breaking point" to be somewhat analogous to losing virginity or getting married. Anticipated good, once's the ceremony of that has passed, well....anyone want cold popcorn? to be it crudely.

There is something about that "Assess, Identify, and Strike" mode as described above my Mistress Madame that i find mind-fuckingly exciting, especially when i as a sub am not aware of it happening.

i read Mistress Madame's blogs, posts and replies, and i perhaps it is true that i can't handle it.  But rather than Breaking, i find myself slowly Bending.  And the "bending" is beyond my own control.  Is that a typical part of the process?
